In occasione della Giornata del Contemporaneo AMACI 2020, il Centro di Archiviazione e Promozione della Performing Art (CAPPA) di Pescara lancia una open call per il coinvolgimento di giovani performer nella I° edizione di CORPO.doc - Performance e Arti Visive, rassegna che si terrà in Abruzzo nella primavera del 2021. Potranno partecipare al bando:

• artisti con un’età compresa tra i 25 e i 45 anni

• ogni artista dovrà proporre una performance che ha come tema woman’s body

• la proposta dovrà essere corredata da una scheda tecnica con informazioni sui materiali, strumenti e mezzi da utilizzare, voci di spesa, demo o bozzetti per offrire un’idea di massima della performance

• le candidature dovranno avvenire entro il 31 gennaio 2021 attraverso il modulo scaricabile su questa pagina

• il modulo di partecipazione comprendente della scheda tecnica, demo o bozzetti riguardanti la performance, dovranno essere inviati entro il 31 gennaio 2021 al seguente indirizzo: cappa.artecontemporanea@gmail.com

• le proposte saranno valutate dai membri del direttivo del Centro di Archiviazione e Promozione della Performing Art e solo tre performance saranno selezionate per la I° edizione di CORPO.doc I performance e arti visive

Dopo dieci anni di attività CORPO - Festival delle arti performative diventa CORPO.doc I performance e arti visive: un’apertura della rassegna abruzzese verso tutti i linguaggi visivi legati alla Performing Art.

.doc oltre a rimandare all’acronimo “di origine controllata” indica le tre sezioni di cui si compone il progetto culturale ovvero document, orizzonti e community:

document, l’approccio archivistico e bibliografico caratterizzerà la rassegna offrendo al pubblico una ricostruzione attenta delle esperienze artistiche realizzate in passato nell’ambito della Performing Art. Ricostruzioni che saranno arricchite dal coinvolgimento di esperti del settore.

orizzonti, l’attenzione che la rassegna ha deciso di porre nei confronti delle forme più sperimentali in ambito performativo, con lo scopo di scoprire nuovi talenti.

community, la necessità, attraverso la rassegna CORPO.doc I performance e arti visive, di dar vita a comunità di lavoro con il coinvolgimento di istituzioni pubbliche e private.

La prima edizione CORPO.doc I performance e arti visive avrà come tema woman’s body un focus dedicato al CORPO delle donne.

On occasion of The Day of the Contemporary AMACI 2020, the Centre for Archiving and Promotion of Performing Art (CAPPA), of Pescara launches an open call aimed to the engagement of young performers to invite at the I° edition of CORPO.doc | performance and visual arts, an exhibition that will take place in Abruzzo in Spring 2021. Will be eligible for application:

• artists aged 25 to 45

• each artist must submit a performance with the theme “woman’s body”;

• the submission must be accompanied by a technical sheet with information about materials, tools, cost items, demos or sketches to present a general idea of the performance

• applications must be submitted within the 31st January 2021 through the application form available on this page

• the application form accompanied by the technical sheet, demos or sketches concerning the performance, must be submitted within the 31st January 2021 at the following e-mail address: cappa.artecontemporanea@gmail.com

• submissions will be evaluated by the members of the board of the Centre for Archiving and Promotion of Performing Art and only three performances will be shortlisted for the I° edition of CORPO.doc | performance and visual arts

After ten years of activity CORPO - Festival of performing arts becomes CORPO.doc | performance and visual art: the exhibition’s opening to all visual languages related to Performing Art. CORPO.doc, along with wanting to endearingly recall the acronym “of controlled origin”, points to the three sections of which the cultural project consists, namely document, horizon and community.

document refers to the archivistic and bibliographical approach that will feature the exhibition committed to offer the audience an accurate reenactment of the artistic experiences produced in the past in the area of Performing Art. Reenactments that will be enriched by critical readings through the involvement of experts in the field.

horizons instead refers to the emphasis the exhibition has decided to place with regard to the most experimental forms in the performative field with the aim of finding new talents.

community, refers to that necessity, through the exhibition CORPO.doc | performance and visual arts, to give birth to work communities with the involvement of public and private institutions.

The first edition of CORPO.doc | performance and visual arts will have the theme “woman’s body”.
